The application process hasn’t changed as a whole, it’s just the format in which the ATF accepts it has changed! So along with the information on our NFA Paperwork page, the addition of our fingerprint and photograph equipment will make the E-Form process much smoother! The E-Forms application requires fingerprint cards be uploaded in a very specific format, one that you can only get with an FBI approved scanner, which we now have on site! For my customers, a one-time fee of $75 will get you a secure folder of your fingerprints and photos for the initial AND all future electronic submissions at no extra charge.
When you consider that paper fingerprint cards range from $5-$20 each and $10-20 for photographs at retail locations or post office, this one time fee starts to make sense. It’s a way for us to recoup some of the capital for the equipment and software and provide and much better experience for our customers! THE #1 biggest complaint I’ve had over the years is the difficulty acquiring fingerprint cards. Combine this difficulty with a world-wide panic via the China Virus, and these restrictions have become even worse. You deserve better customer service and now we can take care of these requirements in one-stop.
Should you need printed copies of FD-258 Fingerprint cards, (which you don’t as long as the E-Forms are up and running), but should you need/want them, I will print copies on FD-258 cards for a small fee.
