Well here I am, once again talking about wait times…. And I’ll cut to the chase, they are pushing 1 year at this point.
With the re-opening of the ATF E-Forms website for Form 4 applications, the optimism of 3 month approvals is still a ways in the future if I had to guess. The process is certainly improving and becoming more streamlined, but it will take time to fully realize how much its improved. We shall see, but so far so good has been my experience with the E-Form process.
My recommendation remains the same. If you want an NFA item, get started on it. Don’t wait for a change in administration, suppressors to be removed from the NFA, lower wait times, etc… It’s just not going to benefit you enough. If you want something, let’s do it! Let the wait begin today! 🙂
